Zhejiang University always encourages its professors and researchers to deepen cooperation with other entities by approving their application to establish university-level joint labs with universities, governments, companies and research institutes. Up until now, there are 23 international cooperation centers still in their operation. In helping with the industrial and economic development of regions and the country, Zhejiang University has also established several joint research centers with governments of some provinces.
