Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences announced the list of candidates for the 4th Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences Young Scientist Award, and 30 people were selected. Fang Xuekun,professor from the College of Environmental and Resource Sciences won the award of Excellence.
In 2018, the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences established the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences Young Scientist Award for the first time. This award is open to the environmental protection system, universities, research institutes and enterprises across the country. It aims to recognize and reward outstanding young scientists under the age of 40 who are engaged in ecological environmental science and technology research.
