LI Erping, a professor from Zhejiang University’s College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, was awarded the 2015 IEEE’s Richard Stoddard Award for his outstanding contributions to electromagnetic compatibility, high-speed electronic signal integrity and three-dimensional integrated circuits.

Prof. LI conducts various EMC related research; in particular, he addresses high speed electronics, signal integrity, and complex system EMC research, 3D integrated circuits and electromagnetic compatibility. In 2006, he was awarded the Technical Achievement Award by the IEEE EMC Society for over 20 years of outstanding contributions in EMC/EMI modeling and simulation. In 2008, he was elected to an IEEE Fellow.

The Richard R. Stoddard Award, founded in 1979, is the top award of the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society. It honors only one eminent scientist or engineer globally in the field of radio frequency and electromagnetic compatibility. LI is the first scholar in China to be honored ever since the award was made.
