On the afternoon of June 8, 88-year-old tenured professor Chen Qiaoyi received the highest academic honor of Zhejiang University, “Chu Kochen Award”. Vice President Chu Jian presented the Meritorious Medal to Prof. Chen.
Professor Chen Qiaoyi is a well-known scholar of historical geography. His book Shui Jing Zhu marks his contribution to contemporary Li Study in historical geography. After the award ceremony, Prof. Chen expressed his appreciation to Zhejiang University, especially his gratitude and admiration to old President Chu Kochen.
