摘要：
Recent activity of graphene and related materials mainly in Japan is overviewd. Starting from general introduction of graphene and nanotubes, we would like to give brief introduction of the nationwide project in Japan, Science of Atomic Layer (SATL) 2013-2018 as a project leader.
Then we would like to present our recent activities on thermoelectricity and optical properties of grahene and two dimensional materials.
个人简介：
1980.3毕业于日本东京大学理学部物理学科，1985.3获東京大学理学博士学位，1985.4東京大学理学部物理学助教，1990.4任日本电气通信大学副通信学部电子学科副教授，2003.3至今任東北大学大学院理学研究科物理学科教授。曾获日本应用物理学会优秀论文奖、日本物理学会论文奖、日本显微镜学会论文奖、日本IBM科学奖。主要著作有「フラーレン・ナノチューブ・グラフェンの科学」(共立出版、2015）、「RamanSpectroscopy in Graphene Related System」(Wiley-VCH、2011）、「基礎固体物性」(朝倉書店、2009）カーボンナノチューブの基礎と応用 (培風館) (2004) 、「量子物理学」(培風館, 1996) 、「Physical Properties of Carbon Nanotubes」(Imperial College Press, 1998) (G. Dresselhaus, M.S. Dresselhaus と共著)。
